Sasirekha hails from an abjectly needy family. Her parents are involved as flower vendors earning about USD 706 per year. The meagre income is not sufficient to support the family or provide the child with basic needs of food and clothing. They are not able to make ends meet despite their best efforts. Finally in utter desperation they sought aid from this project in order to provide a better future for this child. Sasirekha is attending primary school. Her favorite subject is English and is good in number works. She is active. She enjoys playing group games with her friends. Her health is good. She has one brother.
