Denis is a smiley, active and friendly young boy staying with both parents, siblings and cousins in North Eastern Uganda. He attends formal education irregularly due to frequent malaria attacks. Whenever he or his siblings fall sick, his parents give them herbal medicine because they are not able to afford hospital treatment and worse still, their home is quite far away from the health facility. They sleep in a grass thatched hut made of mud walls and wattle. His parents struggle to provide for the family basic needs like good nutrition, clothing, beddings and medical care. His parents have no reliable source of income apart from cultivating on one acre piece of land to get food. The situation is worsened by low crop yield which is a result of poor farming methods used. The family survives on a monthly average income of less than US 10 dollars. With your kind contribution coupled with the family effort, the future of Denis will definitely shine.
