Ndeye is a calm and adorable girl. She lives with her parents and siblings in one of the villages of the remote countryside. Her father is, like most of the people living in this part of the country, a traditional farmer. He is also running a small business. As for her mother, she is just a housewife without any revenue. They live in a large family house which they share with other close relatives. The annual income US $ 500.00 which the family earns at the end of the rainy season is not sufficient to solve the family’s most pressing needs. Ndeye is in kindergarten where she is doing well. She is also helpful with small errands. After school, she enjoys having fun with her dolls or running with other kids. Sponsoring this girl would give her more chance to have a good education and succeed in life.
