Prakruthi comes from a backward family and lives with her parents  in an urban city located in Karnataka. They share a small house that lacks basic facilities. Her father works long and exhausting hours as an autorikshaw driver, but his annual salary of approximately USD 1040 is insufficient to support the family, pay for education, household expenses, and other necessities. The mother is a dedicated housewife who tries to do whatever is at hand, but there is hardly any improvement in their living conditions. Finally, the humble parents turned to this project for help with the childs care and education. Prakruthi attends preschool, and  is active. She likes to learn rhymes. She enjoys playing with friends and dolls. She is fond of singing and dancing. She is the only child to her parents. Her health is average.
