Nancy is the last child to her parents at the moment. She lives with both parents and siblings in a small farming village in eastern Sierra Leone. She is not attending school at the moment but her parents are willing to send him to school when she is school going age. She spends most of her day playing with her siblings and peers. She stays healthy most of the time. The family dwells in a three-room mud bricks house with old zinc as roof top. There is no access to electricity or pipe borne water in their community. Her parents are small scale farmers who grow different crops seasonally to feed the family and as well sell some to take care of other basic needs. Since her mother still attends school. She joins her husband in the farm after school. The family survives on a two meal a day as their annual income is estimated at US$ 250. With the support of a potential sponsor, Nancy will have the opportunity to be educated and confident who will grow, develop and discover her full potentials.
