Jeandson is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Jean and Maria,  in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, ceramic tile flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. Jean works as an artisan and Maria as a kitchen assistant (both doing odd jobs); the combined income, however, is hardly enough to meet basic needs. Jeandson is cheerful, playful and affectionate. He helps his mom by putting his toys away. His favorite pastimes include playing soccer and tag. He has a cat, a dog, and two birds he is very fond of; by the way, his wish is to work taking care of animals when he grows up. He attends a local public elementary school and his favorite subject is math. The family is needy and through your support Jeandson and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of recreation and education.
