Meet Shukran, a very lively, playful boy who brings a burst of energy wherever they go. He is a talkative child with seemingly endless supply of stories, questions and observations. Shukran dreams of becoming a mechanic just like his father. He comes from an extended family staying with both his parents and some relatives. His father works as a mechanic while his mother works as a vendor where she sells snacks. Both their incomes are below 30 dollars challenging them from being able to meet both Shukran and the extended family needs. He enjoys helping at home with chores like washing utensils and going to the nearby shop to buy simple things. Shukran loves dancing so much and always participates in the school activities that involve dancing and singing. Whenever an opportunity to swim presents itself at school, he participates because he also loves swimming a lot. He performs well at school with his favorite subject being mathematics.
