Anna is a young Brazilian girl who lives with her parents, Joao and Eloisa; twin sister, Joanna, and older brother, Joao, in a slum area on the outskirts of a city located in the state of Minas Gerais. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, ceramic tile flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. Joao works as a sales promoter and his earnings are far from enough to meet even the most basic needs of his family. Anna is affectionate, inventive, cheerful and playful. Her pet name is Aninha. She helps her mom by putting the toys away. She loves playing house and with dolls in the company of her sister and other girls her age. She attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. She says that she will be a ballet dancer when she grows up. The family is needy and through your support Anna and her family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
