Gael is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother, Larissa, on the outskirts of a small town located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is lent to them, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his child. Larissa is unemployed at this time. The family receives a very small family allowance from the federal government, which is far from enough to meet basic needs. Gael is playful and cheerful. He likes playing with toy cars and building blocks in the company of other kids his age. Gael attends nursery school and loves painting and coloring. The family is needy and through your support Gael and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
