Youssouf is a little boy who was born in a remote village in Guinea. He lives with both parents in a mud house where electricity and clean water are absent. They often use running water for drinking and firewood to light in the house at night and for cooking purpose. Traditional farming constitutes the main income generating activity for this family. The annual income they make is estimated around $320 from their farming products. This little amount does not do much to sustain them. Youssouf is a very intelligent boy who is in good health and attending the village ECD. He spends his night in a bed on the straw mattress with a mosquito net. A caring sponsor will enable better healthcare and a brighter future for this needy child.
