Marcos is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his parents, Marcio and Francisca, and with one brother, in a slum area on the outskirts of a city located in the state of Ceara. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, rough cement flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. Marcio works as a salesman and earns low wages. Marcos is communicative, affectionate and studious. He helps his mom by putting his toys away. He likes playing tag in the company of other kids his age. Marcos attends a local public primary school and his favorite subject is Portuguese. He says that he will be a veterinarian when he grows up. The family is needy and through your support Marcos and his family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
