Senul Sasmitha is a sweet little boy living in the peaceful hills of Monaragala District, Sri Lanka, a region blessed with stunning natural beauty but also marked by hardship. He lives with his parents and brother in a modest, unfinished home. The walls are made of cement, the floor is concrete, and the roof is constructed with asbestos sheets. They rely on a neighbor’s well for water, and sadly, they don’t have electricity or toilet facilities, which makes daily life a challenge. Senul enjoys playing with his little friends, finding joy in small moments despite the difficulties his family faces. Though he is too young to attend school, his parents dream of giving him a better future through education. His father works as a full-time wage farmer, earning just $600 annually, while his mother is a homemaker. They struggle to provide three meals a day and meet their childrens education expenses. A sponsor’s support would greatly ease their burden, helping them create a safer, healthier environment and giving Senul the opportunity for a brighter future full of hope and promise.
