Vihangi is a beautiful little girl who attends a primary school in her local vicinity in the Monaragala district of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. Her favorite subjects are Sinhala Language and Social Studies, where she shows great enthusiasm and curiosity. In her free time, she loves playing with her sister, filling their home with joy and laughter. Vihangis family lives in a fully built house with cement walls, a cement floor, and a roof made of asbestos sheets. They have electricity and sanitation facilities, and they draw water from their protected well. Both her parents work as farmers, tirelessly laboring to provide for their family despite their low income. Thanks to a generous sponsor, Vihangi is able to continue her education, nurturing her dreams and ambitions. In this destitute community, Vihangi’s bright spirit and determination offer a beacon of hope, illuminating the path to a better future for her and her family.
