Nipun Yasanga is an active boy living with his parents and sister in the Monaragala District of Sri Lanka, a dry but beautiful farming region known for its hard-working people and peaceful surroundings. He attends primary school and rides his bicycle with his friends every day to get there. Nipun enjoys spending his free time playing with his friends and riding his bicycle around the village. He also helps his mother with household chores, especially cleaning the house. His mother is a housewife, while his father works as a seasonal farmer, earning about 800 USD per year. The family lives in their own small house, which is still incomplete, with brick walls, a concrete floor, and a roof made of clay tiles. They have electricity and toilet facilities but must collect water from a neighbor’s well. Despite their efforts, it is hard for the family to provide enough nourishing food and cover the educational needs of their children. Receiving sponsorship would help them overcome these struggles and secure a better future for Nipun. Supporting Nipun would be a meaningful step toward uplifting a bright and deserving child’s life.
