Sineth Madhumaal lives in the peaceful Monaragala District, a rural area in Sri Lanka surrounded by lush greenery and calm landscapes. He lives with his parents and a brother in a house owned by a relative, which remains incomplete. The walls are made of brick, the floor is concrete, and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. They get water from a neighbors well, and while they have electricity, there is no toilet facility. Sineth enjoys playing, which brings him joy despite the challenges he faces. He has been diagnosed with thyroxine deficiency and is currently receiving treatment. He helps his mother with cleaning the house, doing his part to assist in daily tasks. Every day, he walks with his mother 2 km to school. With an annual income of $600 from his father’s work as a seasonal farmer, the family struggles to meet basic needs, including healthy food and education expenses. A sponsors support would help provide better nutrition, healthcare, and educational opportunities, ensuring a brighter future for Sineth and his family.
