Senusha is a young boy from Monaragala District in Sri Lanka, a region where farming communities work hard to sustain their families amidst many challenges. He lives with his parents and a sister in their own house, which is incomplete and modestly built with brick walls, a concrete floor, and a clay-tiled roof. Despite his young age, Senusha helps his mother by cleaning the house, showing his sense of responsibility. He enjoys reading books in his free time, which reflects his eagerness to learn and grow. Senusha attends a primary school located 2 km away, and every day his father takes him to school by bicycle. His father, a seasonal farmer, earns only about $600 a year, while his mother is a housewife, leaving the family with very limited income to meet daily needs, provide healthy meals, and manage educational expenses. They use water from a common well and have both electricity and a toilet facility at home. Sponsorship would be a great blessing, as it would help secure Senusha’s education and improve his family’s living standards. Supporting him is an investment in shaping a promising future.
