Let’s introduce you to the very cute girl named Keru who lives with her parents and two siblings in a destitute area with poor hygiene.  The community where the child lives in there is school, health centers, and transportation services but most members of the community are destitute family and some of them are living with HIV.  The family lives in a small, rented house.  The family communicates in Amharic local language.  Her mother is a housewife, and she takes care of the family.  Her father is a casual worker to make a living.  Keru is in preschool.  Her favorite game is playing hide and seek. They earn less than 380 USD income per annum which is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. In order to overcome the poverty Keru is facing, she needs a helping hand so that she can get a better education to have a brighter future.  

Ending child poverty begins with Keru. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
