Leila is sociable and affectionate; she loves playing with her ball and her dolls, and she dreams of becoming a dentist when she grows up. Her favorite subject is Language, and she enjoys helping her mother with household chores and doing her homework. She lives with her parents and younger brother in a house made of adobe, with a corrugated metal roof and a cement floor. Fortunately, the house has basic services such as drinking water, electricity, a private bathroom, and is located very close to the health center they attend and the elementary school Leila attends. Her father works as a construction worker, while her mother takes care of the home and the children. All their hard work is devoted to giving their family a better future.
