Maimuna is a young girl living with her parents in a house that is made of mud walls, grass thatched roof with packed dirt floor. The house has a dusty floor which is not conducive for the children as it exposes them to flu which makes them to fall sick from time to time thus draining the family income. Maimuna and the parents hardly eat two meals a day which affects their growth and development. Maimuna has only two pairs of clothes exposing her to skin diseases which drain the family income in terms of treatment. She loves playing rope skipping with her fellow children at school and supports her parents to wash plates. Her parents are small scale farmers who practice farming on a small piece of land, which is infertile, this affects their incomes in terms of survival. However, Maimuna shows interest in schooling as she excels in drawing, thus once supported her future dream will be achieved and the family wellbeing will be enhanced.
