Sufiya comes from a backward family and lives with her parents, one elder sister and one younger brother in an urban city located in Karnataka. They share a small house that lacks basic facilities. Her father works long and exhausting hours as an auto driver and her mother works as a labor in an office, but their annual salary of approximately USD 1120 is insufficient to support the family, pay for education, household expenses, and other necessities. They try to do whatever is at hand, but there is hardly any improvement in their living conditions. Finally, the humble parents turned to this project for help with the childs care and education. Sufiya attends school and enjoys learning English subject. She enjoys playing group games with her friends and dolls. She is fond of singing and dancing. Her health is average.
