Eregae is a calm young boy who lives in the Northen part of Kenya, Turkana County. He lives with his parents, sisters and brothers. They live in palm-thatched and mud walled house in the community land. They fetch water from a nearby river within the community. The mother is the primary caretaker who depends on firewood selling for income. The father who is the secondary caretaker seasonally does casual labour tasks mainly in construction works outside their village to supplement the income earned through firewood selling. However, the annual income from these activities combined is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the family needs. The mother therefore approached the office to seek for Eregae to be enrolled as a beneficiary. Eregae has not yet attained school going age. The aspiration of Eregae’s parents is for him to become a doctor in future since there is inadequacy of doctors and hospitals in the community. Your sponsorship will be of great impact in Eregae’s life and family.
