Ejore is a humble boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He lives with his mother who is a single parent. The family lives in a palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. They fetch water from a community tap whose water is saline. The family practice small scale farming activity for economic sustenance. They also practice broom making as a livelihood supplementation activity due to high standard of living in the region. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for all the basic needs. For this reason, his mother approached the office to seek for further assistance. Ejore is not enrolled in school since he has not attained school going age. He likes playing with toy cars and shakers. His mother would like him to become a neuron surgeon when he grows up. Ejore has not been assigned any house hold chores since he is still young.
