The family lives in a palm thatched mud house while floor is earth plastered. The land they live in is a communal land. they fetch water from the community hand pump whose water is saline. the family practices mat weaving activity and broom making as a source of economic sustenance. As a livelihood supplementation project, the family practices firewood selling. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for family basic needs. For this reason, her mother decided to approach the office seeking for further support. Nancy is enrolled in a nearby school and she is performing well. She enjoys singing games and likes skipping rope while at home. He aspires to be a teacher when she grows up.
