Salifu is a friendly boy who lives with his brother and mother in a small farming community in the northern part of Sierra Leone. His father is a sickle-cell patient and is away in the city. His mother is a vegetable gardener who grows crops like corn, millet and beans which is the main source of income for the family. Her annual income is about US$ 390.00 which can hardly take them through the year. They dwell in a two bedroom mud bricks adobe house without toilet facility and inadequate beddings. Salifu is attending in one of the primary schools in his village. He has great passion for education but her mother cannot afford to buy him all school materials for quality education. He loves to sing and dance traditional music when they relax on moonlight nights. He is so helpful to his mother by fetching drinking water at home. Support from sponsorship will contribute to make a remarkable difference in his life and family.
