Anne is a young Brazilian girl who lives with her parents, Pablo and Helen, and with one younger sister, in a slum area on the outskirts of a city located in the state of Minas Gerais. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, ceramic tile flooring and a concrete slab ceiling. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. Pablo works as a glazier and his earnings are far from enough to meet even the most basic needs of his family. Anne is affectionate, cheerful and playful. She helps her mom by making the beds and putting the toys away. Anne loves playing house and with dolls in the company of other girls her age. She also enjoys coloring. She has a dog she is passionately fond of. Anne attends a public elementary school and loves Art. The family is needy and through your support Anne and her family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
