Napuya is a playful boy who lives with his parents in from Turkana County in northern Kenya. he lives with his parents, rwo sisters, and two brother in a palm-thatched mud house on communal land. The family draws water from a community hand pump that is saline and scarce, as it serves many households. They rely mainly on charcoal burning and selling for income where his father is the one practicing it, while his mother supplements through mat weaving. However, their annual earnings are less than 360 USD, which is not enough to support the family’s basic needs. His mother therefore approached the office for help. Napuya is enrolled in a nearby school . He enjoys playing with dolls. His parents aspire for him to become a pilot in the future.
