Nfamara and his family are living in one of the rural communities in the Western Region of the Gambia. Their house is built with mud blocks and roof with corrugated iron sheets. The parents mainly depend on seasonal farming and gardening for both food and income generation. However, poor rainfall and poor soil quality coupled with other factors, the farm produce of the parents have been affected thus affecting the annual income of the family making it challenging for the parents to afford the familys needs for the whole year. He is healthy and active thus his hobbies include playing ball and running about. He is presently enrolled in the government Primary School doing fine. Therefore, if he is sponsored, he will be privileged to health and education services whilst his family will benefit from the Federations family livelihood improvement programs.
