Maykel Stalin, known as Maykel is a cheerful and sociable boy with black hair, black eyes and tanned skin. He and his brother live with their mother in a faraway rural village with lovely nature around. Their borrowed house with basic services is built with cement block walls, cement floor and zinc roof. Maykel attends basic school; math is his favorite subject. He likes sports and assembling things and wants to be a military when he grows up. His pet is a dog called Leon. Maykel helps in the house running small errands. The father lives in another place; the mother supports her two boys. She works as a seamstress and gets three hundred and fifty dollars, too little to cover the needs of the children. They are growing up and still have several school years before becoming independent people. Their needs and expenses are growing. The mother dreams to give the boys the best education and see them living as successful professionals. She looked for help in ChildFund to be part of the projects and receive its benefits.
