Esther is a creative girl. She likes imitating their neighbour making pancakes, she plays with sand and leaves, also trying to make her pancakes. She has education in the kindergarten within the community. The family lives in a small farming village in North Eastern Uganda. Her parents do subsistence farming on one-acre piece of land growing sorghum, cassava, corn, beans and vegetables. Occasionally the family sells vegetables to earn extra income to carter for the wellbeing of the family. The family monthly income is less than US 10 dollars which is not enough to sustain the family basic needs like health care, clothing, beddings and good nutrition. The family lives in a single grass thatched hut, made of mud and wattle walls with a packed dirt floor. It acts as a bedroom and a store for all household items. Your kind contribution will go a long way in enabling Esther to have a bright future.
