Marian is a quite girl who lives with her parents in a farming community Eastern part of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a two bed room house built with mud bricks and roofed with old iron zinc. She is the first daughter to her parents. Her father is a small scale farmer and her mother does backyard gardening as another means of earning income and also helps with the farm work. Their combined annual income is approximately US$ 255 which cannot cater for all the basic needs of the family throughout the year. Marian does not attend school because of her age. Her parents are willing to send her to school when she is of age. She likes playing with locally made baby dolls with her siblings. Her health status is comparatively good. This girl really needs sponsorship in order to meet her nutritional, educational and daily needs to live an average life.
