Sulayman and family live in the coastal region of the Gambia. The family lives in an extended family system. His father is a local farmer, who depend on seasonal farming activities to feed the family. His mother is a petty trader. The familys annual income is very low to meet the basic needs of the family especially health and education. Their combined annual income is very low. The family lives in a mud blockhouse with two rooms and a parlor. Their bath room is outside the house. External support would be of great help to this child and family to develop a better livelihood. He has two brothers and two sisters. This child likes to play football with his fellow children. He is going to school and also in good health for now.
