Paulo is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his grandmother and uncle in a very small house made of wood. The grandmother of Paulo is a farmer, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. Paulo is in grade one and his favorite subject is Portuguese. On his free time, Paulo enjoys playing with toy cars and football. He also enjoys helping his family with the housework. The family of Paulo believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Paulo will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
