Joshua is a kind, happy and a playful child coming from a family of ten people from one of the remote villages in the mid- western part of Uganda. Joshua is a creative child; he likes dancing and football as his favorite pass time activity. He lives under the care of both parents who are peasant farmers, they earn a living through subsistence farming growing majorly food crops for home consumption. The mother of Joshua is the sole breadwinner, she vends food items in the market to supplement on food items harvested from their gardens and help generate extra income to cater for the family basic needs. However, the money realized is little and not sufficient to facilitate all the basic needs like medical care, school requirements, clothing, and good shelter, these has made Joshua and siblings to miss classes due lack of scholastic materials. The family have no access to a better health care services but through your support to sponsor to this child they will enable him to have access the basic needs and his family will have a lasting impact.
