Valentina belongs to a humble and needy family. The father works hard as a bricklayers helper on a temporary basis. The mother is a homemaker. They live in a lent dwelling. It consists of one single room and a latrine. It is made of cement and it has no drainage. Their furniture consists of a bed, a wardrobe, four chairs and a table. They do not have the essential household appliances. Their daily diet is based on soup, rice, beans, tortillas, lentils and vegetables. They very seldom eat meat or chicken. Valentina is happy attending preschool and she is learning the vowels and numbers. She is now in good health, her weight is 20 kgs. and her height is 1.12 m.
