Reezam and her family live in a simple house made of bamboo, wood, and cheap metal roofing. The head of the family works hard as a tricycle driver, but half of his daily income goes to the owner. His earnings are not enough to sustain the basic needs of his family. Despite their situation, the family is blessed with good health. Their mother stays at home and fulfills her responsibilities well. Reezam is the youngest child in the family and is affectionately called Kading at home. She is not yet enrolled in formal school, but her mother plans to enroll her for the upcoming school year. Her mother also teaches her the letters of the alphabet, counting, and helps her familiarize herself with colors and shapes. Kading helps her mother with household chores and enjoys singing and dancing. It is her greatest dream to finish her studies and help her family.
