Jaziel is a cheerful, playful, and curious child, full of energy and in good health. Her mother is a dedicated stay-at-home-mom who manages the household and cares for the children, while the father works full-time as a bricklayer. His monthly income of approximately US $ 411.00 helps cover some of the basic needs of the family, but it is not enough to fully support a household of five. The family lives in a home built with brick walls, a corrugated metal roof, and cement floors.
