Kalkidan is a very cheerful girl who lives with her parents and one siblings in a deprived part of the country.  Her mother is a housewife and her father is a causal worker to make a living.  They communicate in Amharic language.  The community where the child lives there is lack of school facilities such as teaching aids and the health center lacks medical equipment’s and medicines. The family lives in a small house made up of mud and wood. Their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement.  Kalkidan will also have a bright future if she gets helping hand to have access for quality education and health services.  Her favorite game is playing toys.
