We are introducing to you the smart Yonas who lives with his parents and two siblings in a neighborhood that lacks basic health equipment and quality school materials. The family communicated in Amharic local language. His mother is a housewife and she takes care of the family.  His father is a casual worker to make a living.  He is a kindergarten school student. Their minimal income, which is very low per annum, is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a single room house that is built by wood, mud and covered by iron sheet.  The nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. In order to overcome the poverty Yonas is facing and to get a better education, he needs to be enrolled in the project.

Ending child poverty begins with Yonas. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
