Samson is a cheerful boy who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. He lives with his mother, two sisters and one brother. They live in an iron-roofed house and walls smeared with mud in a communal land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. His mother is the bread winner who depends on the broom-making activity. However, the annual income derived from this broom-making is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the familys needs. His mother decided to approach the office to seek for assistance. Samson goes to a nearby school in the village and performs better in creative art and science. In addition, he loves playing hide-and-seek with his brother and friends during his free time.
