Let’s introduce you to the very cute boy named Temesgen who lives with his parents and one sibling in a neighborhood with lack of potable water, preschool and health services. The family communicates in the local Amharic language. He is young child and he has not yet started to go to school. His mother and his father are casual worker to make a living. They earn less than $300 per annum which is not enough to cover even their most basic needs. They plan to change their lives by being engaged in income generating activities. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. The family lives in a rented small poorly built house, and the nearby school and health center lack basic equipment and qualified professionals. To overcome the poverty Temesgen is facing and to receive a better education, he needs a helping hand. Quality education will help Temesgen develop essential skills, gain knowledge and have better opportunities for a brighter future.
