Methrine lives in one of the communities in zambia with the mother, sister and aunty, the father lives somewhere else. The community in which the family is living in has a scarcity of water and sanitation living them prone to water borne diseseas. The family entirely depends on the mother who works as a maid. The wages earned is not much to sustain the family basic needs, having one hand to provide for the whole family. The child is in primary school while her favorite subject is english. Methrine is a healthy child and the game she enjoys most is playing with toys. We are very optimistic that sponsoring this child will enable her have a bright future and access other needs that the family are unable to provide.
