Ireen is a very cheerful girl who loves to play with dolls. She lives with her mother, sister and brother. They live in Mutamino a rural farming community east of Lusaka. Ireen is learning at a preschool within the community. She likes counting number and singing preschool songs. Her mother is a subsistence farmer who grows maize which is a staple food crop. Their annual income is about US $350. Ireen and her family live in a two roomed house made of burnt bricks. The family lack basic services such as water and electricity. They use a pit latrine and cover a distance of about 800 meters to access clean water for their home use. Your sponsorship to Ireen and her family will make a positive change in their lives
