Raghu lives with his parents and one brother in a small house in a remote village of  Karnataka. His father works as a farmer and his mother does seasonal  agricultural works. Their combined annual income is about USD 218, not enough for a family. His parents find it difficult to meet both the ends and to give proper educational care to their children. Raghu is a smart boy and is very active. He is attending school and is learning to read and write in Kannada, the regional language.  Raghu likes to play with his brother and neighborhood friends.
