Peter is a calm boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana county. He lives with his mother, father, brother and one sister. They live in a palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. They fetch their water from a community hand pump whose water is salty thus not safe for child consumption. The family depends on mat weaving activity whose as the main source of economic sustenance. Nevertheless, the family practices firewood selling as an income supplementation activity. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to cater for all family basic needs. Peter is enrolled in school where he is in pre primary 1. Peter likes singing ABCD songs while in school and he likes playing hide and seek with his friends at home. His ambition is to become a teacher when he grows up. Peter helps his mother in collecting firewood while at home. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life.
