Erick Miguel belongs to a humble and needy family. The father works hard as a small scale farmer. The mother is a hommaker. The familys monthly income is approximately less than U.S. $200.00. They have serious problems to cover all their most urgent needs. They own their dwelling. It consists of two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. It is made of blocks with a cement floor. It has electricity, drinking water, and drainage. Their furniture consists of two tables, six chairs, and two beds. Their daily meals are not well balanced due to the lack of resources. They very seldom eat meat or chicken. Erick Miguel is attending the Early Child Development Program at the Project. He is now in good health and he has been vaccinated against the major childhood diseases. He has no brothers or sisters. He is cheerful and he likes to play with balls. He is fond of music and he tries to help at home, picking up his toys, clothes, and shoes.
