In the heart of Sri Lankas central tea plantation community, little Thuwaraka brightens the world with her innocent laughter and boundless creativity. Every morning, she sets off to preschool, her tiny hand tightly clasped in her mothers, painting their path with love and anticipation. Their modest home, nestled amidst rows of barrack-type line rooms, offers shelter with its cement floors, brick walls, and tin sheet-covered roof. Despite the challenges of their marginalized existence, they are blessed with basic amenities like electricity, sanitation, and tap water for drinking. Thuwarakas mother, the pillar of their home, lovingly tends to her daughters needs, while her father toils in the tea plantations, striving to make ends meet. Yet, their meager income often falls short, burdening them with the weight of responsibility and uncertainty.
