Gael is happy living with his parents and his sister Hanna. The father, like most people in the region, works hard as a small scale farmer. The mother is a homemaker. The familys daily income is approximately less than U.S. $2. They cannot get by with the little money the father earns. They speak the Nahuatl dialect and Spanish. Their dwelling consists of two rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. It is made of cement and it has no drainage. Their furniture consists of two beds, two chairs, a wardrobe, and a table. They do not have the essential household appliances. Their daily meals are based on milk, eggs, tortillas, beans, and fruit. They very seldom eat meat or chicken. Gael is attending an upper grade of elementary school. He is now in good health, his weight is 29 kgs. and his height is 1.33 kgs. He forms part of the dancers and he enjoys it very much. He helps at home, fetching firewood and he likes to listen to the sound of birds. Your kind support will help him in his future.
