Madiana who is commonly called YeaMadi lives with her parents and other family members in a mud house with old zinc roof in a community in the Eastern part of Sierra Leone. Her parents are subsistence farmers who grow crops and vegetables such as rice maize, pepper, cassava and potato. After harvest some of the products are sold to take care of some family needs like health, education and clothing. The family income is insufficient to provide all the basic needs for YeaMadi and family. She sleeps on a locally made bed and a savanna grass stuffed mattress with her parents. Her health is good. She is fun to be with and loves to play with her peers. Her parents dream for her is to be educated and become a medical nurse in the future. A potential sponsor like you can help actualize her parents dream for to become a medical nurse.
