Nasmia is a cheerful and friendly girl who lives with her parents and siblings in a community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique. Nasmia and her family live in a self-built house with reed walls, a thatched roof and dirt floor. They do not have running water. They get water from a well. They do not have electricity in the house. At night, they use primitive kerosene lamps. Nasmia has not started school yet because she is still underage. Her parents are subsistence farmers and they grow maize, groundnuts and cassava for the family sustenance. Nasmia and her family have lack of money and face many problems to get food. The family income is very low. Nasmia participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. Her family will benefit from the training skills and home improvement programs. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
