Koyah lives with her mother in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. She sleeps together with her mother in a four bedroom in a house built with mud bricks and covered with old zinc. Her father is a commercial motor bike rider outside the village while her mother is backyard gardener. They support the home from their combined little income. Their combined yearly income is approximately US$ 220 which is not enough for the family. She is a school going child. She loves to play local games and is very clever and smart among her playmates. Her favorite color is blue. She spends most of her time with her mother after school by helping her with domestic work. Koyahs hope is to be educated. This could be a difficult task for her parents but with sponsorship, this can be made possible in changing the life of Koyah.
